How To Transfer XBox 360 Rosters

All Pro Football 2K8 only allows gamers to create a maximum of 8 teams and only 20 created players. This greatly reduces the customization possibilities available to gamers. It is still possible gamers to create ALL of their favorite teams though, and here's how you do it.

First, you will need to purchase a memory card. Be sure to get the 64 MB memory card. This is very important! Do not buy the 512 MB card. It's difficult to find the 64 MB cards, but you can usually pick one up on eBay or used at your local GameStop.

Next, you'll need to purchase the Datel Data Transfer Kit. This kit will allow you to transfer save files from you Memory Card onto your PC, and from your PC onto the memory card. The Transfer Kit does have one limitation though. It only supports the 64MB card. So, once again, be sure to buy the 64 MB Memory Card!

The memory card is inserted in the front of the XBox 360 console.

Then the USB is connected to your Personal Computer.

WARNING!!!

Be sure to do this firt thing as many times the Roster file can become corrupte or even be written over when you are working with the Memory Card and the Hard Drive save file. We haven't identified the scenario that causes the Hard Drive file to be over written, but we DO know that it happens (sadly, we know all too well!).

The first thing you need to is back up your current Rosters. To do this, to to the Dashboard, and Console Settings Blade, select Memory, then Games, then All Pro Football, then the Rosters file. Choose to copy it, and then copy it to your Memory card. Once it's copied over, take the Memory card to your PC and backup your rosters!
