 Friday Night Lights started out as a movie, but then turned into a 3 year running TV series that managed to survive the writers boycott of 2008, no small feat. Though a drama at heart, the series is based on a coach and the team he coaches, a Texas High School football team called the Dillon Panthers.

 2K is unable to create a NCAA football game, once again thanks to EA signing yet another exclusive contract that ensures they have no competition and can continue developing sub par video games for the masses.  Per requests in the forums, Valdarez has provided codes for his Plano Pride team and Dallas Stars. The Plano Pride team is what the UPS men would wear if they played football. The Dallas Stars is Val's take on the Dallas Cowboys uniform. It's not quite authentic, but it's close, and many say that it looks better than the standard Dallas Cowboy uniforms.
